Zorn

Ceramic expression of anger

Human emotions and how universally we display them has always fascinated me. The contraction of specific muscle areas in the face lead inevitably to the impression of a particular mood or emotion. In this clay sculpture I tried to capture the emotions anger, contempt and hatred (“Zorn” meaning anger in german). The depicted person is purely fictional, an interpretation of the mentioned emotions.
