A modular chest of drawers built from a single drawer module. Stack two for a bedside table, three or four for a sculptural dresser, and add an open module wherever you want things in view. Each drawer turns independently by 45°, so the column can be recomposed for the mood or the occasion. Softly rounded lacquered bodies, fronts and tops in natural marble.
The idea
Most storage furniture is decided once: a chest of drawers has three drawers, a nightstand has one. Callas starts from a single module instead. Each drawer is a complete piece on its own, with a lacquered body, a marble front and a shallow tray on top.
The modules simply stack. Two make a bedside table, three a compact dresser, four a column that holds a whole wardrobe's worth of small things. An open module without a drawer leaves room for books or a bottle. Because every module is identical, the arrangement can change with the room, the move, the season.
The first edition pairs an dark bordeaux lacquer with Levanto Rosso marble, so the veins of the stone and the colour of the body speak the same language. The wood edition in oak veneer with Calacatta Oro brings the same system into a calmer, lighter room.
